Close the loop! We all need to be using post-consumer recycled paper that is processed chlorine-free. By purchasing paper that is made from "already-been-used" waste paper we will reduce the need for trees for paper, decrease energy consumption (it takes less energy to make new paper from recycled paper) and we will conserve landfill space. And if we buy paper that is not whitened with chlorine compounds we will have the added bonus (an immeasurable bonus) of eliminating dioxin from the paper industry. It can be done but it has to start with you!
